Alzheimer facilities are becoming a public health policy priority. Whilst suitable medical treatment may be central to the quality of care, a comfortable environment in also closely linked to patients’ well-being. This new seminar provides an overview of the care environment, guidance in planning interior spaces adapted for Alzheimer's disease patients, and the choice of interior design, flooring and colour.

This seminar examines the reasons for using an entrance flooring system and its benefits to end-users. It explores the factors affecting a selection, and the considerations for the beginning of the design process. An explanation of cost savings and benefits gained from installing entrance systems is demonstrated, as well as flexible mat construction options to suit differing needs and budgets.
