Think of any iconic building and the chances are that its material finish added that all-important defining touch. This month we celebrate finishes by showcasing just a tiny fraction of the RIBA’s vast library of CPD materials on the subject. Still can’t find information on the material finish you want? Focuses on the properties of photocatalytic porcelain, a treatment based on titanium dyoxide that transforms porcelain products into environmentally active materials. This seminar explores its characteristics and benefits in terms of design, sustainability and certification points.

Provides an insight into stone wool cladding, including how it's made and the benefits of applying ventilated façades to new builds and renovations. Other topics covered include current UK fire safety regulations, testing procedures, sustainability, installation and maintenance, and examples of how stone wool cladding can be used in a wide variety of applications.
