Seminar, by RIVERMEADE
A CPD presentation that examines what constitutes 'best sign practice' and how good signage helps everyone – not just those with disabilities. It covers: how signage for the disabled can be well intentioned yet unhelpful, choice of typography and colourways to aid legibility, why layout of information on a sign is so important, helpful and misleading symbols and arrows, plus a case study featuring Whitley Court. This offers some good examples of what signs look like when they are specifically designed to assist a variety of visitors with different disabilities.

Rivermeade specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of signs for major architectural projects in the UK, and for international hotels throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Its particular strength is the manufacture of high quality custom signage, and the management of complex projects.
