A detailed look at the use of glass as a structural material. Topics covered include detailing and joining modern, slimline extensions with older buildings, u-values, photovoltaic glass, nanogel, prismatic glass and UV bonding.
Founded in 1986 by two of its current directors, Charlie and William Sharman, Cantifix started out fitting standard conservatories but quickly found its true calling – innovation. From 1990, Cantifix took on ground-breaking experimental projects, culminating in the first ever structural glazing project in the UK in 1991.
