Seminar, by Hoare Lea
Dominic Meyrick (MSc Light and Lighting) presents this series of four seminars covering cutting-edge lighting design issues. They break down as follows: seminar one – The daylight revival; seminar two – The building blocks of light; seminar three – Lighting for the electronic age, and; seminar four – After dark – light and the nightscape.

Dominic is passionate about his subject and his lively, effective delivery makes learning fun. Specifiers may book one or all four seminars, each of which takes one hour.

Seminar, by Triton Systems
Offers a greater awareness of BS 8102: 2009, the Code of Practice for Protection of Below Ground Structures. It details the grades of waterproofing required, types of waterproofing systems available, and relevant standards and regulations applying to both new build and retrofit projects.

Triton Systems is an established supplier of all types of structural waterproofing systems (types A, B and C, as defined in BS 8102 2009). Its BBA-approved systems are used widely in the construction of watertight concrete structures, such as commercial and domestic basements, car parks and swimming pools. The company also offers a range of BBA-approved cavity drain membranes.

Online Learning, by Cellecta Ltd
This 16½-minute video presentation covers sound proofing and compliance with Part E/Section 5 of the Building Regulations. It also includes information on methods of compliance and pre-completion testing suitable for floors, walls and ceilings on new build, refurbishment and conversion projects.
