Core Curriculum: Being safe
Our second featured Core Curriculum topic, ‘Being safe: health and safety’ covers construction legislation and building regulations, CDM (or similar outside the UK), workplace health and safety, employers' responsibilities, risk assessment, fire safety legislation and CSCS card procurement.

It also explains how the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and the Health and Safety laboratory (HSL) assess slip resistance, and the test methods they use.
