The key aim of this seminar is to provide a general overview of the scope of applications available to the specifier for façade structural adhesives. It includes the particular benefits that are gained, such as thermal performance, invisible fixings, and health and wellbeing impacted by increased natural daylight through glazed façades, as well as the aesthetic benefits.

Seminar, by Marmox (UK) Ltd
This seminar explains why recent changes to building regulations have made addressing thermal bridging much more important than it used to be. Using examples, it addresses how to estimate and improve the energy efficiency of both domestic and non-domestic buildings, using either the various accredited details or thermal bridging blocks.

Marmox UK is part of an international group of companies that manufactures specialist building products, including insulation materials. In the UK, Marmox is known for its own load-bearing Thermoblock, which can be used to eliminate the thermal bridge at the wall/floor junction. This CPD seminar covers what the architect needs to consider when choosing and specifying a working-at-height system, and how to integrate it within their building design. It also provides an insight into the latest legislative requirements, including the Working at Height Regulations and latest Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
