Covers the technical and legislative considerations relevant to designing and specifying aluminium curtain walling. By using a best practice 'system design tree' specifiers can ensure that the right glazing system is well planned, accurately designed and properly detailed. The correct specification of a glazing system is critical to its sustainable, cost-effective and robust performance. In addition to covering those points this seminar also examines key legislation and standards (including reference to upcoming changes), safety, fire and thermal performance issues.

With so many different types of digitally printed product available for use on interiors, how can you be sure you’re choosing the right one?

This seminar explains the differences between various digitally printed wallcoverings and graphics, and what those differences mean to you as a specifier. It covers the relevant sections of the Construction Products Regulations, the UK Building Regulations (post-Brexit), and the transition from EU to UKCA standards. It also discusses how to ensure that your materials meet BS EN15102 product performance requirements, that their fire certificate is valid for your intended use and include a declaration of performance, and that they display an approved CE or UKCA mark.
