The temperature of our surroundings and the quality of the air that we breathe – we’re aware of both without even opening our eyes. They provide a constant measure of our surroundings. Yet, while they tend to surface in the public consciousness only when dealing with damp and cold, new technologies and material science has allowed us to make great strides in this area. Our theme this issue is therefore ‘Heating and ventilation’. It is presented alongside the very latest CPD materials to have been assessed and approved by the RIBA, a selection of live seminars available online, and materials relevant to at least two of the ten Core Curriculum subjects.

The RIBA CPD Providers Network members included in this issue are all acknowledged leaders in their respective fields. Their RIBA-approved materials count as double towards your total annual requirement of 100 learning points. All except those included in the Latest and Featured CPD sections are heating and ventilation specialists.
