Slips and trips are the most common cause of injury at work. Most slips occur when floors become wet or contaminated and many trips are due to poor housekeeping. In the UK, slips and trips are responsible for, on average, a cost to employers of £512million per year in lost production and other costs.

This CPD will provide an outline of what specifying safer floors, to protect people and reduce liability, looks like, and

what this means for designers and specifiers. Demonstrating the importance of designing spaces with the right floors, providing safer surfaces to walk on.
