GRP rooflights are highly durable and can be safely specified as non-fragile, providing they have been manufactured to industry standards, correctly fixed, and used in conjunction with structurally-compatible roofing components. This document is designed to provide a straightforward guide for the designer, to simplify the specification of GRP rooflights to achieve non-fragility and ensure a 25-year lifespan.

NARM, The National Association of Rooflight Manufacturers, represents manufacturers and suppliers of all types of rooflights into the UK market. NARM’s purpose is to identify and promote best practice in rooflight specification, installation, maintenance and safety.

Its mission is to achieve growth and sustainability in all sectors of the single ply roofing industry by raising the awareness of single ply technology, and by ensuring that manufacturing and installation standards remain high. SPRA members are actively involved in developing ways to improve single ply products, installations and aftercare.
