The following CPD materials have been assessed and approved by the RIBA.
Online Learning, by DRU Fires
Covers the design, specification and installation of gas fires and wood stoves, including conventional and balanced flue gas fires, and the use of smart digital controls. Also covers open and closed combustion systems for wood stoves, and their compliance with clean air regulations, the European Ecodesign Directive and other emissions standards.
DRU Fires, based in the Netherlands, designs and produces gas, wood and electric fires and stoves. It developed the balanced flue system, which enables fires to be installed in almost any domestic location, with or without a chimney.
Together with its approved dealers, DRU regularly assists architects and builders in specifying fires and stoves for new build and refurbishment projects.

Seminar, by Glass Films Europe
Take a look at the benefits of applied window films and factors to consider when specifying them. These include health and safety issues, as well as choosing the correct window film for your project. This CPD seminar also examines new technologies, such as cloaking technology film, and how this can improve data privacy within a working environment.

Explains what an underground spiral cellar is, how it’s constructed, and the environmental conditions required to store wine, before describing how a specially designed cellar is able to deliver these conditions without the need for an electronic climate control system.
