This CPD focuses on the importance of air and wind tightness in low energy building design. It discusses the importance of external and internal membranes, their sealing and highlights best practice on how to specify and install. This CPD covers the fundamentals of BIM Level 2/ISO 19650 principles, aiming to improve knowledge of BIM language and day to day application of the BIM process. Topics covered include a BIM maturity review – BIM Level 1,2 and ISO 19650, the collaborative team – roles and responsibilities, application of BIM Level 2 and ISO 19650, and responding to an EIR – Making BIM Level 2 and ISO 19650 work practically.
