3D City Models Overview

An overview and comparison of various digital 3D city modelling types used by architects. Includes examples used in architecture, urban planning and construction as well as comparing five 3D city model types: the extruded buildings footprint polygons 3D map, airborne lidar model, aerial photogrammetry model, textured photogrammetry model and non-GIS game-ready model.
