Rooflights

The following CPD materials have been assessed and approved by the RIBA.
Covers: contemporary daylighting systems and the growing demand for flat glass rooflights, new cutting-edge glass solutions, factors to consider when specifying flat glass rooflights, relevant British Standards and testing procedures, and the basics of how to correctly install and maintain rooflights.

Roofglaze has been established since 1999 and has a wealth of experience in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of rooflights, skylights and roof glazing systems.
Roofglaze is proud to work in partnership with world-leading rooflight manufacturers, as well as offering its own market-leading flat glass rooflights, that it manufactures at its in-house facility.

Explains the benefits of using daylight in building design. Covers the latest building regulations, BREEAM requirements for health and wellbeing, European regulations and the new WELL Building Standard. Also includes advice on the current range of daylighting materials available (daylighting systems that combine natural ventilation and smoke extraction), daylight training (ideas to reduce heat and cooling losses and energy consumption in buildings), climate based daylight modelling calculations, and strategies that will both save energy and help to create healthy, glare free environments for building occupiers.
