For dancers, the floor is their canvas, their most important work tool. The correct floor safeguards dancers from the risk of slips and falls, or long-term stress injuries. But not all floors are equal, and specifying the wrong type of floor for dance and performing arts can lead to serious career-ending injuries. Floors developed for commercial or sports applications do not give the same support to dancers as floors specifically designed for dance. This is a seminar on how to spot the differences and how to specify the correct flooring for dance and performing arts.
Harlequin is widely recognised as one of the world’s leading authorities on dance and performing art floors.
