The following CPD materials fall within the 'Access for all – universal or inclusive design' RIBA Core Curriculum topic area.
This seminar has been designed to provide specifiers with the knowledge and confidence necessary to specify the correct door for health care environments. Several pieces of legislation are referenced:


  • Health Building Note 00-04; Circulation and Communication Spaces (2013)

  • The Equality Act (Disability Discrimination Act)

  • BS8300:2009 Design of buildings and their approaches to meet the needs of disabled people
