Procurement and contracts

The following RIBA-approved CPD materials fall within the RIBA core curriculum topic ‘Procurement and contracts’, which covers understanding the legal and regulatory basis of the procurement system. It also covers having the knowledge and skills to negotiate consultant procurement and win work, and to ensure you have the right building or professional services contract or agreement in place for a project.
Factory Visit, by Altro
This tour of a manufacturing plant and laboratories focusses on how safety flooring is manufactured, and how new products are developed, as well offering guidance on the different types of safety flooring to suit specific applications, measuring slip resistance, and cleaning and maintenance. The tour takes place in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire, and includes a buffet lunch.
