Online Learning, by Saint-Gobain Ecophon
Explores the effects of ageing and dementia on memory, sight and hearing and what this means for design, using examples of good and poor design to illustrate each point. Includes guidance on: the number of people with dementia and the ageing population; the effects of dementia on the body and mind; the effects of ageing on our eyes and ears; how both can impact our interactions with our interior surroundings; and, how to design interiors that are easier for those with dementia, and sight and/or hearing loss to use.
