This CPD covers the key standards and considerations to take into account when specifying a hotel bathroom or washroom. These decisions can have a huge impact on running costs as well as on guest safety and satisfaction. The presentation's aim is to ensure optimum product performance and satisfaction for facility users, aesthetics and ease of maintenance within a hotel environment.

The presentation looks at:
- Key standards within hotel bathrooms and washrooms affecting safety, water and energy conservation and user accessibility through compliance with Part M regulations

This CPD looks at the issues around water conservation in buildings. The presentation begins with an overview of the natural water lifecycle before looking at a holistic view of designing water management systems and key ways of reducing water usage. It then moves into standards and regulations and BREEAM, before finishing with a section on grey and rain water recycling. By the end of the session you should have a greater understanding of:

This seminar will:

- Focus on accessibility in new residential Buildings
- Focus on Volume 1 of Part M Building regulations
- Explain the bathroom layouts in detail to help facilitate planning of new residential bathrooms and cloakrooms. There is a particular focus on explaining the realationship between products and wheelchair access zones.
- At the end of the seminar attendees will be able to both understand requirements, why they are in place and know what to do or who to ask when planning residential bathrooms
