Water Saving without Compromising Performance

Description

This CPD will cover the following topics:

• An understanding of why we need to save water from the global perspective
• Looking at the requirements to achieve BREEAM, LEED, ESTIDAMA and the Code for Sustainable Homes accreditation, without compromising performance
• Water saving solutions at each of the four water drawn points (shower, basin, flushing and kitchen)
• Information on where rainwater and grey water recycling is appropriate for various applications and how to recycle grey water in a domestic and hotel environment
• Touch free public washroom solutions including infra-red, self-closing taps and flushing controls.
