This seminar will focus on the impact of accessibility on the specification of ironmongery looking at the following areas:

- Legislation, including

- Equality Act

- BS 8300: 2009

- Approved Documents and their equivalents throughout the UK and Ireland.

- It will look at the impact of BS 8300 specifically on products such as

- door closers

- door furniture

- hardware such as hinges locks and panic hardware

- access control product

- handrail
