This CPD covers the fundamentals of BIM Level 2/ISO 19650 principles, aiming to improve knowledge of BIM language and day to day application of the BIM process. Topics covered include a BIM maturity review – BIM Level 1,2 and ISO 19650, the collaborative team – roles and responsibilities, application of BIM Level 2 and ISO 19650, and responding to an EIR – Making BIM Level 2 and ISO 19650 work practically. By the end of the presentation you should have a greater understanding of: - BIM Levels and ISO 19650, to be able to make an educated decision on if a project is or should be BIM or not. - Basic vocabulary, to be able to hold educated discussions on and around BIM. - The stakeholder’s roles/functions and collaboration, to be able to see a BIM project from an objective angle and better understand how the teams should work together. - Employers Information Requirements, to be able to plan the project and better support the client. - BIM Execution Plan, to be able to better plan the work loads, manage the team and project and work better with external teams.
