Knauf UK
This CPD equips designers and specifiers working on residential or mixed-use developments with the practical knowledge needed to engage confidently with acoustic requirements, consultants, and specifications. The session moves beyond theory to examine real-world performance: what determines whether a completed building achieves its intended acoustic environment, and where projects most commonly fall short.
Drawing on Knauf's experience across high-rise, multi-occupancy (HRMO) residential construction, the CPD addresses the full acoustic picture: the regulatory framework, the distinction between laboratory and in-situ performance, flanking transmission, construction detailing, services coordination, and the absorption requirements that govern common areas.
