CEDIA is a leading global authority for home technology that represents over 3,700 member companies specialising in designing and installing electronic systems for the home. CEDIA members work with architects, specifiers, interior designers and developers to design and install suitable smart home systems; either at new build or refurbishment stage. Through education and training our members are best equipped to provide advice on the solutions available the best meet the clients' needs. One of their CPDs, 'Designing Integrated Future-Ready Homes', aims to help architects understand the basics of smart home technology and will give them the knowledge to talk confidently to clients. As well as this, CEDIA also provide a Recommended Wiring Guidelines document to ensure that network cabling is correctly installed for the modern home.
