This trio of CPD seminars on the theme of ‘Light’ are designed to be both practical and inspirational, offering an insight into how glass can be used as both a construction (architectural) and restorative material.

This seminar is designed to inspire and inform architects about the potential that glass has as a building material. Rapid technological advances in glass have changed many of the parameters, and the remit of this seminar is to highlight these changes and show new ways they can be applied in construction. Featured topics include structural glazing, joining old to new, U-values, photo-voltaics, nanogel, prismatic glass, UV bonding – and an overview of the future of transparent architecture.
