1. Understand Colour Fundamentals - what is hue, tint, tone, shade, chroma, value, and saturation
2. Recognise Colour Temperature & Undertones - Differentiate warm vs. cool colours and identify undertones
3. Apply Light Reflectance Value (LRV) - Understand LRV's role in exterior selections and compliance with substrate requirements
4. Distinguish Colour Models - Compare RGB, CMYK, HEX, and CIELAB
5. Explore Colour Perception - Explain metamerism, opacity, and simultaneous contrast
6. Assess Colour & Lighting - Understand how lighting affects colour perception and material appearance.
