Understand a Co-Working Space
Co-working is the use of an office or other working environment by people who are self-employed or working for different employers so as to share equipment, ideas and knowledge. This workshop provides a practical learning experience held in a London co-working space. It consists of a half-day session that will begin with either breakfast or lunch and will be limited to groups of no more than 15 people per session.
There will be an introduction to co-working and the facility where the session is held. Attendees will then have time to work in the co-working environment. They are encouraged to undertake their work as usual, and to see how they find working alongside co-working members from different organisations, in an agile working space. The group will meet again to discuss how they found the experience, to hear their fellow attendees’ feedback and to run through the positives and negatives of the space. The speaker will facilitate a discussion and will also guide the conversation with his experience of co-working. The workshop will help attendees to:
