This CPD looks at moisture mitigation for concrete floors prior to receiving non-breathable flooring finishes, such as resin or vinyl. The use of an appropriate vapour control layer can prevent flooring failures caused by high levels of moisture and alkalinity forming at the top surface of the concrete.
