Literature, by Petersen Tegl A/S
Petersen is a magazine about interesting architectural projects that use brick, and about the various technical developments within the process of making and building with bricks.

Petersen Tegl, founded in 1791, has been run by the same family ever since. The brickworks exports to the USA, Japan, Russia, Australia and many European countries.

Petersen Tegl produces the 100% handcrafted Kolumba and Petersen Cover, and is one of the few brickworks in the world to have mastered the art of firing bricks using coal as fuel.

Explains the different fire ratings for glass, and the importance of having the correct (approved) components in place for fire-resistant windows, screens and doors. This seminar also tackles some of the misconceptions regarding the qualities of toughened glass by showing the differences between wired, resin, laminated and modified toughened fire-resistant glass, and describing both testing and fire assessments.
