Here are the latest CPD materials to have been assessed and approved by the RIBA. These include both new and recently-revised CPD materials.
Includes a brief overview of the evolution of steel windows, their design flexibility, profiles and capabilities. Also covered are statutory compliance issues, together with information on sustainability, features and benefits, enabling the architect to confidently specify steel windows and doors.

This CPD seminar provides an overview of the various installation standards (e.g. BS 7671) in different geographical areas, and building automation technologies (open and closed protocols). All information is presented against a backdrop of how to factor-in owner and developer requirements without compromising design.

This CPD covers the design and construction of clay masonry in accordance with the appropriate regulations. It includes information on: manufacturing techniques and the physical properties of clay bricks in the UK; BS EN 771-1, and its influence on brick specification; best practice clay masonry design and detailing, and; workmanship onsite, including storage, protection and construction of clay masonry.
