A trio of CPD seminars that covers the latest developments, not just in concrete manufacture, but in its repair and maintenance, presented by world-leading suppliers.

This seminar aims to:
highlight the relevant standards covering the different elements of concrete repair;
highlight how to notice and assess the different symptoms/factors that cause deterioration in concrete;
provide information on ways of preventing or treating these symptoms and causes of deterioration and repairing the relevant structure; and
highlight the quality testing of products complying with BS EN 1504.

Founded in Milan in 1937, Mapei is today a world leader in the production of adhesives and chemical products for building. The group now includes 65 subsidiaries with 62 production facilities operating in over 30 countries across five continents.

Concrete-framed buildings and elements such as lintels, sills and mullions have suffered from various defects such as corrosion of steel and are in urgent need of repair to mitigate risks to the public. This CPD seminar introduces the European Standard BS EN 1504 for specifying the best means and materials for combating these defects, and prolonging the active service life of the building.
