Core Curriculum: Designing and building it
A wide ranging Core Curriculum subject area offering something for practically everyone. The following five seminars are all delivered by market leaders and experts in their own field.
This seminar focuses on: the properties and sustainability of aluminium, aluminium production and recycling, BREEAM assessment of aluminium windows, aluminium windows within the BFRC window energy rating scheme, thermal performance of aluminium windows and, sustainability through responsible sourcing and partnering of suppliers.
Metal Technology designs, extrudes and stocks architectural aluminium glazing systems, which are delivered to a network of UK and Irish glazing contactors for their fabrication and installation. Collaboration in the workplace is much talked about today, with successfully designed spaces (alongside an enabling culture), becoming key to everyday business activity. Herman Miller commissioned Dr Nigel Oseland, a workplace psychologist, to review how the psychology of collaboration impacts workplace design. This seminar will share these findings with you, as well as some observational research carried out by the Herman Miller international research team.
