Seminar, by James Latham
Examines the components of solid surfacing and how they’re made as well as addressing production, fabrication and application issues.

Established in 1757, James Latham has been importing and distributing timber and wood-based panel products to the UK for more than two and a half centuries. Under the continuing direction of the Latham family, the business – whose current management team includes several ninth-generation family members – has developed into an industry leader in panel products, hardwood, hardwood flooring and joinery quality softwood. Today, it offers one of the most comprehensive and varied product ranges available. A member and supporter of the Timber Trade Federation, James Latham was the first signatory to the Federation’s Responsible Purchasing Policy. The company has a strong environmental policy with all depots being Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) certified. The business has also been independently audited to ensure that it is compliant with the European Timber Trade Regulation (EUTR).
