Firestop 101: Introduction to Firestop Technology
Firestopping is the application of concepts and products to stop the spread of flames, smoke, and toxic gases which allows occupants additional time to escape hazardous conditions. This CPD provides an introduction to Firestop technology, including the importance of firestopping, the basics of fire science, key concepts and definitions, and the application of firestopping materials. By the end of the presentation you should have a greater understanding of:
