Calor Gas Ltd

Overview

Founded in 1935, Calor is the leading LPG supplier for homes and businesses located off the gas grid, and the UK operating company for SHV Energy – the world’s largest downstream LPG distributor. We also design, install and maintain LPG systems with the UK's largest dedicated team of LPG engineers. Calor supplies LPG in both bulk and cylinders. Bulk tanks can be sited either above or below ground, and Calor retains all maintenance responsibilities for the tanks, ensuring the eventual customer has nothing to worry about. Calor’s own Think Tank® technology also tracks gas levels, informing Calor when to arrange a delivery, ensuring customers should never run out of gas. Suitable for a range of applications, LPG is the ideal fuel to work alongside solar and biomass and can also fuel combined heat and power (CHP) technology. Calor LPG is the lowest carbon fossil fuel available in non mains gas areas but we still take our sustainability commitment very seriously. Not only has Calor been awarded the Carbon Trust Standard for efforts in carbon reduction, we are also the first corporate supporter of the Woodland Trust; our funding will see 50,000 trees planted across the UK.
