The aim of this seminar is to raise the awareness of the problems with waste water noise and to offer guidance on how to overcome these problems. Topics covered include what causes noise, the importance of acoustics in design, acoustic regulations, designing with acoustics in mind, as well as showcasing acoustic data from ‘typical’ UK installations.

A succinct presentation, explaining how automatic and industrial doors can be used to enable safe and easy access for all users (and vehicles) as well as tackling the issue of fire safety. The presentation is updated in accordance with the latest appropriate standards.

This two-part CPD seminar covers general acoustic theory, including sound absorption, attenuation and reverberation times, before moving on to specific issues involved in the acoustics of various interior environments relating to suspended ceiling design and specification, including relevant legislation and standards. Optional areas covered are offices, healthcare, education, retail, industrial and residential.
