This seminar aims to help the specifier design healthy, comfortable workspaces by giving him or her insight into the key parameters to achieve, as far as practical, an ergonomically correct workstation, as well as discussing the motivational factors driving ergonomic intervention.
It includes: an introduction to workplace ergonomics; identification of potential health problems and typical causes associated with the use of technology in the workplace; an analysis of relevant commercial impacts; a discussion on legislative requirements and; step-by-step guidelines for an ergonomic workstation set-up including chair, desk, keyboard and mouse, and monitors.
