This interactive seminar highlights the role that solar shading plays in sustainable and environmentally-friendly building design. Delivered by a solar shading consultant with more than 20 years’ experience, it demonstrates the importance of choosing the correct fabric and explains how automated solar shading systems can help achieve environmental credentials such as BREEAM, LEED and Ska. The presentation is supported by a practical demonstration and informative literature.

This seminar covers the types of door available for both domestic and industrial applications, their features and points to consider, as well as case studies illustrating why specific door types were chosen for various projects. It will help architects understand the differences between the various door types on the market, and how to specify the correct door for the right application.

The Hörmann Group is a leading door manufacturer based in Germany. Its 16 distribution warehouses supply a multitude of private and commercial properties across Europe, Asia and North America.
