As a result of worldwide directives, along with UK Government and local council planning legislation, ecological design is a major factor in the specification of flat roofs. This CPD seminar addresses these requirements and identifies key considerations to take into account when designing green roofs, such as selecting suitable substrates and plant species. The seminar also introduces blue roof storm water management systems, a solution to SUDS, waterproofing and legislative challenges.

Alumasc offers a complete range of system solutions to meet the varied requirements of flat roof and structural waterproofing applications. Next-generation waterproofing membranes, environmentally-conscious green roof and blue roof systems, building services supports, rooflights and complementary accessories join together to make up one of the UK’s most comprehensive roofing systems offerings available from a single source.
